Spring Green Educational Foundation is a nonprofit based in Maumee, Ohio, serving Toledo, Northwest Ohio, and communities across the state. For 25 years we’ve helped people heal from trauma, grief, and addiction.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create, facilitate, manage and fund motivational, educational and inspirational programming to heal our world.
Who We Are
Spring Green is an organization that provides a safe space for individuals to address healing of personal trauma and emotional wounds through healing workshops, small groups and community events. To find out if you can receive support, fill out the information form provided. Our outreach focuses on the prison population and their family, individuals within the community who wish to register for a workshop in their area, and anyone in the general public who is interested in support for grief. We also host events at no cost to the community that provide tools for ongoing personal growth and healing.
Our Approach
pring Green has a group of Board members who actively strive to understand the ever-changing needs of the community. We believe that change is progressive and must adapt to the current trends and requirements of the surrounding culture. Therefore, the Board adopts issues that support the mission statement while providing a significant impact of positive change toward education, healing, restoration and connection. We firmly stand by the concept of “modeling” the desired behavior and therefore select Board members and staff to lead these movements that actively reflect the purpose of the Foundation. The methods constantly change but Spring Green stays in integrity to our mission always.
